I've rolled up a few characters to just learn how to do it and then my starter set arrived with the pre-rolled characters.
When I studied the Lightfoot Halfling Rogue character sheet, I can't understand how the Stealth skill is a +7. To my understanding it should just be +5 (+3 Dexterity modifier and +2 Proficiency Bonus).
Am I missing something? What makes it a +7?
Edit: Here's a link to the pre-made characters in the box set. Lightfoot Halfling Rogue starts on pg5 of the PDF. |

The pregen rogue has Expertise.in Stealth. It's noted in the box at the bottom of the left column on the character sheet. Expertise gives.double proficiency bonus so his Stealth is +3 (Dex) + 2x (+2 Prof) = +7.
