Hello, I'm looking to run a 3 month adventure for a few friends.  1 is new to DnD completely the other hasn't played in years. We're going to start out with 5th edition.  The last edition I played was pathfinder a couple years ago.

I'm looking for an easy to use beginner module (or series of modules) that would be good for a small party of about 2-3 players, and would last around three months.

Easy to use, predesigned monsters, supports multi session, and has a good story plot or series of plots that link together.

Any reccomendations on a good well rounded 5th edition beginner module?

Any advice appreciated, I'd like this to go very well and possibly have a new dnd group started.

Thank you!

I thought Lost Mine of Phandelver was pretty decent. I've run that for two groups (games still in progress). I did some re-imagining of it into a Western-themed adventure (see my signature).

I generally like to start out my campaigns with a single location dungeon that has hooks to future adventures. While the players are engaged with that, I'm taking the opportunity to observe what they're interested in and asking them questions to help flesh out the characters and world. From there I build additional adventures. I have posted just such a dungeon here in case you want to use it.

You've got exactly 2 choices atm: Lost mine of Phandelver & Hoard of the Dragon Queen. Based on everything I keep reading about it, it sounds like Phandelver would take about 3 weeks on average. And Hoard is only part 1 in a series. So....

Thanks everyone for the replies!  I love the Evengson adventure you created.  I like to tie in adventures with a larger plot that characters slowly get exposed to. But, I can see how easy it would be to tie in various adventures into a larger plot.
