#1 awesomnessocity Jul 12, 2015 10:24:39	So I have beeen working on a  sci fi rules set to work in conjunction with 5th ed since January. I have almost completed the project, and it will be pretty close in size to the players handbook minus the magic section. I have created a different psionics system than the supplementary psionics ules released, but i am reviewing that to see if i can reconcile the classes to the current rules. The aim for feel i was trying for sits between star wars, firefly, 5th element and mass effect. I cannot release it for free as is as I currently have un registered art as place holders in it. Question here is, is there a way for 3rd party publishing to use 5th ed rules AND if i Kickstarted it, would there be any kind of interest? I wont be offended either way as i created this purely fr the enjoyment of my group of gamers, but I figured i'd throw the concept out there. :-)     Robert

We need a special XPs system if monsters and challenges are too easy when PCs can use gadgets and hich-tech toys.   The idea is good, but it needs a lot of work about design and playtesting.    My suggestion is to test some module about arcanepunk technology, magic machines, paladins with armour vs gunslingers...

Frog God Games and Goodman Games both have produced 5E products and Legendary Games has a PF/5E kickstarter going right now.    So you can make it work. But you have to be an expert in using the existing OGL to make it all legal.
