For example, "FINGER" isn't an acronym for anything, although someone might use it for something sometime but so far, no-one has, So it's a non-acronym, or, using the greek prefix for negation, an anacronym. |

"Anacronym" is a good example of an E.R.R.O.R.
On a side note, since we are questioning acronyms, what does "PEACH" stand for? (Other than a Georgia fruit.) |

It's old - it lacks specific terms to 5e, obviously, and niche terms from previous editions usually show up in specialized FAQs (i.e. Trollbill's lacks "ML", a term significant to 3.5 psionics, but that shows up in the 3.5 psionics FAQ), but it's comprehensive enough, and several concepts transcend editions, like "MAD". (Curiously, though , "RAW" isn't in there.)
EDIT: Found this list as well. Similar note about age, but several concepts transcend editions.
"Anacronym" is technically a portmanteau neologism, rather than a "true" word, if you want to get picky. Unless you use the broad definition of "word", in which case Lewis Carroll has a few words for you. (And in either case, so does xkcd.)
