i have a specific magic item that i would like to use (dark sun) one of its properties is that it ignores all armor of a target and magical or other wise. the armor gets a saving throw against disintegrationor be destroyed. my question is what would i use as a saving throw .. i looked that the disintegration spell but armor has no hit points ..any suggestion would be helpful.

Dexterity is usually used if your ignoring Armor.

Look at the Rust Monster for inspiration.

Apr 10, 2015 9:01:05 I'd use a straight up opposed d20 roll. High roll wins. Armor rolls high, it survives. The whatever-it-is weapon rolls high, the armor is disintigrated.
