How can a LEV 1 spell give +1d4 to attack or save rolls to 3 creatures 10 rounds? do i have misread something? A lev 1 spell wouldnt change the result of a battle each time. 1d4 it´s a HUGE bonus, i can imagine now all the fights with a cleric in the party "well guys, as always let me start the fight, in the first round i cast bless spell"

When a character need so high level to reach +6 attack bonus (max attack bonus by class) how can a spell LEVEL 1 give +1d4, it´s a joke? The attack and AC have been reworked to fit under a lower range but the Bless Spell have been powered since previous editions? i think the old bonus (when a warrior level 20 could have +20 attack bonus by level) was +1, but now it´s +1d4, and not only adds 1d4 to attack, it gives 1d4 to save rolls!!!

That's because it requires concentration. Previously you could stack up a bunch of buffs. Now the cleric can generally only have one, which means they have to count for more. It also has a chance to end early if the cleric takes damage, which, if he's fighting with a mace, is liable to happen.

Yeah, because of the concentration rule a lot of spells have gotten a little bump so they retain their usefulness. Additionally, between the beefing up of bless and the introduction of bounded accuracy they've finally made bless retain it's usefulness at higher levels of play. In previous editions bless became rather pointless at mid-high level. It's one of the things I love about 5e actually. Everything is useful much longer than before. 1st level spells are no longer throw-aways when you move into higher levels. And they did it, for the most part, without ramping up the overall already potent level of power of magic.

Because a d2 is too hard to pick up as your hand will pass right through it.

I think bless should have been a flat +1 bonus. At +d4 it is better than a level 3 spell (prayer).  Hell, bless is better than almost any other combat buff in the game.

The spell isn't as big a bump as people think. For an 11th level greatsword fighter figuring bless up 50% of the time in a 16 round day, it was adding somelike like 20-30 damage of 600 over the course of the day. Also the spell is mostly beneficial for martial classes. It doesn't help wizard DPS at all really since their damage is based off the wizard save DC.

It's a good spell, for sure, but I suspect there will be solid competition for the cleric's concentration slot.

Coins are not d2, they actually have 3 sides.  They are just unbalanced, and only land on the edge very very rarely.

As far as one spell turning a battle, Sleep can do it better than Bless.  It's okay, because low level spell casters can only cast 2-3 spells per day, they need to make a big impact when they are used.
