calculating NPC cr.

Has anybody tried the calculations to see how NPC characters build with the PC rules compare to eachother?

 

It might be nice if we eventualy could come up with a chart that makes it easyer to quickly tellwhat cr a NPC might be.

having a look at the lvl 1 fighter.

assuming a 16 in the primary stat and a 14 in the cecondary all others at 10.

 

defence style fighter HP 12 AC 19 chain 16 +2 shield +1 defensive style.

1 attack +5 to hit 1d8+3 damage (avarage 7.

 

Defensibe AC

12 Hp gives a base defensive CR of 1/8

AC 19 gives a + 3 modifyer to defencive AC for a total of 3 further down on the table you end up with a defensive cr of 1.

 

Offensive AC 

7 damage gives a base cr of  1/2

+5 to hit gives a +1 modifyer for a total efective offencive cr of 1.

 

For a total cr of 1.

 

Great weapon fighterHP 12 AC 16 chain 16 

1 attack +5 to hit 1d12+3 damage ( minimum dice roll 3 ) ( avaragw 10)

 

Defencive AC

12 Hp gives a base defensive CR of 1/8

AC 16 gives a +1 adjustment for a defencive cr of 1/4

 

Offensive CR

10 damage gives a base offensive cr of 1

+5 to hit gives a +1 modifyer for a total efective offencive cr of 2.

 

for a total cr of 1.125
