Added a v6 of my Alt version character sheet.
Changed layout to allow longer notes field for Traits-Features-Feat and spells.
Also posted an example .jpg of the sheet.

For me personally. my style, I am not a fan of 1 sides sheets built for every character.  They are too busy.  That's me however.  I'd prefer double sideded (and extra pages for spells).

So, that asside, it appears to cover the basics.

The alternating grey appears too dark in my mind, when I printed and wrote on it, my pencil did not stand out.

Lastly, again more style than anything, I'd get rid of your 3d/dropshadow.  It really only wastes printer ink.  It made me want to close my eyes and feel the sheet as if it were brail.

I agree that my own preference would be taking out the grey, but I disagree about the dropshadow effect - I thought it was great, but maybe have less of it.  Let it emphasize areas you want a focus, like attributes, hit points, ac, etc. and not so much every single equipment, spell and feat slot.  Just my opinion.
