The owlbear in 5E has AC 13 instead of 12 and it is listed as natural armor. 5E has more hit points.   Ability scores did not change. Perception skill went up.   5E has a better to hit with the beak but does less damage. Claws have a better to hit and do more damage, but the grapple is gone.   The missing grapple is too bad, as the owlbear has traditionally been able to rend foes caught in a bear hug.
