#1 Sr.Right Aug 06, 2014 11:00:03	Sorry if the question have already been asked but couldn't find it anywhere.   So my question is: Will the Core Rulebooks be release in a digital format too? if so, any timeline for that?   Thanks.
#2 alienux Aug 06, 2014 11:05:14	The only thing that's been confirmed as being a digital release so far is the already available free Basic PDF (and it is only going to be digital as far as we know). This question came up a lot during the playtest, but there were no official announcements about the core books being released digitally yet.
#3 Aldente Aug 06, 2014 11:19:30	On a somewhat related note, Codename: Morningstar is the official companion software for 5e, and it will include content from the core books. Here's a comment from their FAQ:   Will the same content in Fifth Edition books be available digitally? Rules, lore, artwork, etc? Mostly. The reality is that digital content works very differently than print. We’ll be able to provide all written content easily, that’s not a concern.  However, artwork is another matter.  Our goal is to make the digital version as beautiful as we can while preserving functionality–and at the moment, we can’t promise that the artistry of the physical books will be represented digitally in the same way.
