As the title asks. Say your a third party publisher, and you want to make content that makes refrence to one or more of the classes found in the player's handbook but not the basic rules, and you want to publish said content under a third party license/possibly even self publish it? Is there an OGL-type agreement for 5e yet that would allow this, and if not, is one slated to be released? Any clarity on this would be nice.

Nope. Not yet. Rumors of something in the future have sprouted up here and there. But nothing concrete.

If you are wanting to publish your whatever it is right away, rather than waiting for the (to paraphrase Mike Mearls from months ago) time to get used to how the game works and plays before it is opened up to others, you can still used the original OGL to cover your usage of anything made open content by that license, which is a lot of shared names with 5th edition elements. Or you can write your product in such a way that it doesn't require any license to function because you aren't using WotC's stuff in the first place, despite making your product perfectly compatible with theirs.

No game license yet. I'm anxiously awaiting it to really start rolling anything worthwhile on my site, but for now you kind of just have to depend on knowing IP law and avoiding stepping on any trademarks or copywritten content.
