D&D at GenCon

May 11, 2015 11:19:50 I was looking over the map of tables at Gen Con and didn't see any listed for Wizards of the Coast. Will there be any WotC presence there? There is a link listed on the Wizards website listing Gen Con, but it links to the info from last year. Can anyone help clear this up?

WotC is always at Gen Con. They stopped registering tables for D&D a couple of years ago. Instead they rent additional space at the dealer's room and run their stuff in their own alcove. They also tend to put up their events at the last minute. Blame it on the skeleton crew or slashed marketing budget, I guess.

May 11, 2015 16:39:26 If it's anything like last year they'll have a big castle thing full of tables and chairs in the same cavernous room they share with Magic. A couple of big D&D sculptures, a little video game nook running the MMO and a marketplace for buying books, minis and merchandise.
