D&D forum reboot?

Ok, I'm not mad...But I assumed that the forum reboot would, well, change things.

There's still the same page layout, the same difficult to cut and paste pics and text issues...

Also, there's the D&D 5e at the top, and everything else at the bottom.

I was envisioning something like:

  1. D&D 5e (and all its sub-forums)
  2. D&D 4e (and all of its sub-forums)
  3. D&D 3e (and all of its sub-forums)
  4. D&D 2e (and all of its sub-foums)
  5. D&D1e (and all of its sub-forums)
  6. D&D edition wars (because, why not?!)

With those afore-mentioned sub forums being about campaign settings, rules talk (DM and player sections), house rules/ unofficial player contributions, and other fun stuff.

Nothing has changed; aside from deleting all the old 5e/'next' threads.

I wanted some kind of software update (or whatever) that made it simpler and better to post here. Copy and paste is still weird, there's no spell check (my browser, google chrome, has a spell check that wroks in every forum I frequent other than this one), posting pictures is also weird, and it's in general not a 'modern' forum. Sorry if I expected too much. But I did.

They never mentioned an actual software update. They only ever mentioned resetting the forum itself.

I did at least expect them to revamp the other sections and not just 5e. Maybe on Monday.

We're not doing a software update, but we will be doing more changes to the D&D forums, so that previous have a similar treatment as this set of forums. Those will be rolling out over the next few weeks, but I wanted to get this one up before the starter and basic rules officially hit. Expect more changes soon.
