D&D Miniatures - Previews?

I have been waiting with great anticipation for the new pre-painted miniatures to be released.  In past releases, weekly previews have helped to build excitement and keep me interested in the line.  So far I have been disappointed that we have seen so few miniatures previewed.   'Paizo' picked up where 'Wizards' left off in the past, and continued the tradition of weekly miniature previews for their pre-painted miniatures line.

I sincerely hope that we will see such previews return with future sets.  From a business point of view it seems like it is just common sense to do this and I am surprised that so few have been previewed to date.  Please bring back the weekly miniature previews.

Thank you,

Kor - Orc Scrollkeeper

Its true we didnt see a lot previewed and of late it was more the dragons. I think the D&D miniatures are pretty well made though!

I have that starter set.  The paint jobs aren't that detailed.  Those are renders of the final models, rather than pictures of the mass-produced minis themselves.

I agree with thewok, I also picked up the set, and actually psoted about them elsewhere on the forum last week.

They are decent, not horrid.  Not like the advertising images.  To some extent as good as, maybe better?, than the previous figures.  To some extent they don't look as good as the same figures WK is making for Pazio.  But time will tell on quality.

This thread includes some pictures of minis being previewed at Comic Con: http://community.wizards.com/forum/product-and-general-dd-discussions/threads/4118201

I'm excited for the release of the new set as well!

It wasn't long ago that these things were $1 each, retail.  Now they want $4 wholesale?  Since I bought quite a few in the good old days, I may have paid for my retirement if the price increases much more.
