Dispel Fatigue

I have noticed that there are several effects and ways in 5e to get exhaustion, but there is a lack of low level spells capable of curing someone of these exhaustion levels.

As part of a new class I'm creating in my campaign world, I am creating a few specific class spells for this new class, one of them being a 1st level spell that can cure exhaustion. Here it is:

Dispel Fatigue
1st-level necromancy

Casting Time: 1 action
Range: Touch
Components: V, S, M (sprinkle of fresh springwater)
Duration: Instantaneous

You touch a willing creature. You remove one level of exhaustion from the recipient.

As I am fairly new to 5e, I am not up to speed on all of the possible consequences of introducing a spell like this. Are there any ways that a player could abuse this spell and create a misbalance in the game? Would love some feedback on this.

Potions of Vitality remove Exhaustion too -- if you can afford them.

Rage also deliberately offsets the costs of lower levels of exhaustion (look at the two effects and how they cancel out in stages). Frenzy uses exhaustion, in all likelihood, as a stand-in for a long-rest recharge.

Here's an alternative (EDIT: Put it in spell format.) Do note that I think this is too strong for 1st level, but I tried to keep it as close to your proposal as I could. I also gave it a more evocative name than the generic "[Verb] [Noun]" form of spell names.

Eternal March (alternative name: Rower's Rhythm)

1st-level necromancy

Casting time: 1 action

Range: Touch

Components: V, S

Duration: Concentration, up to 8 hours

This spell alleviates fatigue and makes it easier for a weary soldier to carry on with an extended march. While the duration lasts, the creature you touch acts as if it has no levels of exhaustion. If you maintain concentration for the full duration, this effect becomes permanent. If the spell ends early but still lasted for at least 1 hour, the spell removes one level of exhaustion when it ends.
