| #10pauln6Nov 30, 2014 9:48:21 | Yeah weird - it clearly says it is lighter but fails to offer up any adjustment. 50% might be a bit much though. I was thinking 25%. Also Elven chain is a thing on its own a medium chain shirt +1 that doesn't require proficiency - I might reduce the weight there even further, maybe 50% is appropriate here. The rules don't list 'magical' versions of mithral armour but do state later on that DMs can jiggle and merge items without affecting game balance too much. I don't think that's always true but some items like the Horn of Valhalla will be a DM's nightmare in their own right. |
