Below are my versions of the iconic characters. Feel free to discuss.
* Human Bonus Feat
Raistlin Majere - Human Wizlock
Caramon Majere - Human Fighter (battle master)
Sturm Brightblade - Human Fighter (champion)
Flint Fireforge - Hill Dwarf Fighter (champion)
Tanis Half-Elven - Half-Elf Fighter (battle master)
Goldmoon - Human Cleric (life)
Riverwind - Human Ranger (Hunter)
Tasselhoff Burrfoot - Kender Rogue (Thief)
Gilthanas Kanan - High Elf Fighter (eldritch knight)
Laurana Kanan- High Elf Fighter (battle master)
Tika Waylan - Human Fighter (champion)
I may add other characters to the list later.

| #3ArtifactAug 08, 2014 22:11:43 | I like the idea of Raistlin as a wizard/warlock. No warlocks back in the day o' course but definately fits given what we know now

Just because the Paladin class has an Oath feature, doesn't mean that other characters are forbidden from swearing oaths, which would act as both bond and flaw. In Sturm's case, this would be a bond to the Solamnic Knighthood, and a Flaw of upholding the "Oath and the Measure".
This is especially true in light of the fact that Sturm's honor revealed how decadent the knighthood had become, and how many knights only paid lipservice to the Oath and the measure. This resulted in Gunthar uth Wistan devoting the remainder of his life to revising the Oath and the Measure. This was eventually completed by Liam Ehrling, Gunthar's successor (although he took no personal credit for completing the revision).
*For most of his career, he wasn't even that, although he did live by the tennants of the oath and the measure before his knighthood.
The Dragonlance Knights are best represented by the following:
Solamnic Knights
Knights of Takhissis/Neraka
Legion of Steel
These are not the only options, but these are the classes that "best" suit each of the various knightly orders (and ranks). |
