Here's mine (edited to reflect some good ideas from later posts):
Human Shadow Monk with a Warlock dip (for Devil's Sight) Svirfneblin Divination Wizard Drow Druid |

As for a party of 4, I'd go:
Dragonborn Vengence Paladin (anti-Fiend and single foe) Tiefling Wild Sorcerer (Buffs and AOEs) Dwarven Life Cleric (Healing and Undead) High Elf Arcane Trickster (Skill, Scout, Snipe) |
| #3ZardnaarSep 03, 2015 11:31:10 | Fighter1/Warlock XYZ fiendpact. Tank+ranged options Wizard- Abjurer Cleric- Life Lore or maybe Valor Bard. Skill monkey and tank in the latter case.
Would probably want a Paladin come to think of it. |

| #5The_White_SorcererSep 03, 2015 12:26:43 | A svirfneblin assassin to be the guy who feels at home in the environment. A wild mage to bring a sprig of insanity. Or maybe a demon-pact warlock (book or chain) for a more sinister, untrustworthy, feel. Human, or maybe sun elf if a warlock? An underdark druid. Half-drow. Shield dwarf vengeance paladin. |
| #6OB1Sep 03, 2015 12:38:40 | Love the underdark half-drow druid idea. Would definately have her as my fifth. |

| #8ClutchboneSep 03, 2015 13:29:43 | Half-elf devotion (or vengeance) paladin
Hill dwarf death cleric
Forest gnome (or deep gnome) arcane trickster
High elf (or drow) diviner wizard
That pretty much covers all the bases, I think.

| #10arnwolf666Sep 03, 2015 16:02:55 | I think I will try to play a Human Variant Barbarian I am taking the Wolf Totem at 3rd level Noble Background
Str 14 Dex 12 Con 14 Int 8 Wis 10 Cha 16
AC:15 Shield Battles Axe +4 to hit, 1d8+2 damage
Athletics Acrobatics Intimidation Persuasion Deception
Feat Sentinel
Plus he is going to love city life, he is so happy to be out of the wilderness where he can live in a cosmopolitan environment with nice clothes, hot baths, and plenty of brothels. |
| #11ModusPonensSep 03, 2015 16:36:09 | I'm gonna blow you're f'n minds:
Human Champion. High Elf Evoker. Hill Dwarf Life Cleric. Lightfoot Halfling Thief. |

Summoning food and water will be helpful and maybe even that ritual to avid eating poor food.
For the first section of the adventure a thief seems really useful but you also have an NPC with a gambling addiction if you dont have one. Same for a linguist. |
| #16Knight_MarshalSep 04, 2015 18:46:01 | Human Barbarian Human Wizard Elf Archer Human female sword and board fighter.
Bring on the demons! I am ready to run the gauntlet! |
