What a silly sounding 1st splatbook...Well, it might be cool...I prefer class-based splatbooks that focus on new builds/subcalsses and tons more options for that class. This edition could copy 2e, and put out 96 page softcovers for each class. I'd love that.
With an old school spell system back, a book of more spells will eventually be nice too. Arms and Equipment guides are fun too. Psionics needs its handbook (It better not be folded into a Dark Sun Campaign Guide....) Classics like Unearthed Arcana, Deities and Demigods, Manual of the Planes, Draconomicon...Even The Book of Vile Darkness (for eeeevil campaigns or just making your villians more interesting) is a cool one too.
I hope they do a PHB 2 with the 'wierder' stuff...Artificer, Shaman, Psionic classes, Alchemist...And races like Warforged (yes, I know they're supposed to be in the DMG, but it might just be a paragraph), Thri-kreen, Aasimar, Shifter, Wilden, Minotaur, Genasi (earth, air, fire, water as subraces), Gith (with yanki and zerai as subraces), etc. are all things I want in my game eventually.
Why so long for a DM screen? It should be released with the DMG. That's rediculous. Heck, a flimsy one should have come in the starter set.
