They combined all of the 3.x ability score buff spells (Bear's Endurance, Bull's Strength, Cat's Grace, etc) into one spell called Enhance Ability (2nd level transmutation). You choose the stat when you cast it. It's on the Bard, Cleric, and Druid lists. Rather than adding a bonus to a stat, the target gains advantage on checks for that stat and several provide additional benefits (Bear's Endurance grants 2d6 temporary HP, etc).
This moves the spell into a utility category rather than a combat buff, but the flexibility of choosing the stat will make it more useful. |

| #3quindiaAug 09, 2014 12:48:04 | 1 hour, but it is also concentration... |

| #6MarandahirAug 09, 2014 20:32:06 | I still am considering making feats core in my game and including a feat for each ability score, which can be taken as many times as you want, until your score = 20. So instead of Ability Score bonuses, Cat's Grace would be a feat that improves Dexterity by 1, Bear's Endurance increases Con by 1, etc. And there'd be a special column that would say that if you took this feat, you could take another feat within that category of feats. |
