| #1buddybakerMar 01, 2015 17:31:13 | It's been about 30 years since I've played D&D 1st edition and have just started to play again. I need some catching up to do in the lands of the Forgotten Realms and Factions. What novels do you recomend that I read? |

Grand History of the Realms takes you up to the Spellplague (4e introduced). I have been going through everything D&D-related from my public library; go and do likewise ! The Candlekeep website also has timelines available, with varying degrees of detail. I haven't looked through the FR section of this website yet. Note that there is so little published for 5e that you can almost make up whatever you want.
