#1 bawylie Jan 29, 2015 9:52:32	If you're me (and I think only one of you is), you spend your prep time on encounter design and story Archs. For the rest of your play, you rely on your improv skills and writing chops to see you through.    Today's DM challenge is to frame an obstacle, an encounter, an adventure, and a campaign. Each of these setups must obey the following rules (just for this challenge, obviously):   1.) Must be adequately descriptive - including all conflicts, participants, elements, and names (if applicable).  2.) Cannot be longer than 3 sentences.  3.) Must sound natural when read aloud.  4.) Must pose a central dramatic question (does not need to be in question form).  5.) Must be Metal AF.   Do you have what it takes? Can you draw me into your game in just 3 sentences? Are you a Dungeon Master or a Dungeon Assistant Manager? Show me what you got!

This troll war band, under the leadership of Lemoras'hûl (their shaman), has learned Control Weather , and uses their newfound knowledge to quench fires and cover themselves in mud before a raid. Emory, mayor of Wold-by-the Marsh, has asked your help in preventing the now weekly raids; you won't have long - a storm is already brewing!
