| #3ShirebrokNov 11, 2014 11:37:50 | Looks like good advice overall.
I suppose this also gives us some insight as to how the devs themselves approached design. |

Is there a spell that's similar to Memory of a Thousand Lifetimes from 4th edition Deva? Always loved that. |

| #49Emanuele_GallettoNov 13, 2014 7:13:53 | it's funny because when I built an aasimar race for my 5E Planescape game I did exactly as they do here, except I only went with radiant resistance but pumped their spells in a not-just-utility way: 1st level it got light, 3rd level it got 1/day guiding bolt as a 2nd level spell, and finally at 5th level it gained 1/day aid as a 3rd level spell. My aasimar eldritch knight was so pumped for the free guiding bolt, I don't think she'd been as much with just utility spells. |

| #70setiNov 14, 2014 19:08:00 | I feel that 'high elves' are close enough to 'eladrin'. Personally, I'd rather have one free cantrip than a 30 foot teleport each encounter...
I love Aasimar, as I use them with Tieflings to represent a split race. (Much like the Mystics and Skeksis in the movie The Dark Crystal).
I hope they didn't drop Warforged from the DMG...That's one thing I was looking foreward to seeing. My wife loves her 4e warforged (defender-style) fighter.
To some, Nerath might not count as a setting because it was a default for 4e, and it doesn't have novels (to my knowledge), all the lore, a setting book of its own, etc. like other settings do. But, yeah PoL was an idea/theme...Not a setting.
Dark Sun 4e does have an awesome excuse for eladrin to exist. I loved the fading feywild idea. Also; Eladrin stepping out of mirages to kill you is so bad ass. |

| #81Luis_CarlosNov 16, 2014 5:03:54 | * Do remember "Lord of the rings" and "Chronicles of Narnia" are fantasy worlds created by Christian writers. Gary Gygax was Christina. (please, let´s change , this is off-topic).
* Have you thought about to create hybrid- mixed blood PC races? Like elfings and muls from Dark Sun.
I would like the return of the racial parangon classes from 3.5 Unearthed Arcana and the template classes from "Savage Progressiones" (D&D web).
* Bairaurs and centaurs are special humanoids because they are quadruped, they can´t climb walls or to ride beasts like normal biped humanoids.
* For me the eladrins are Celadrins (with C), a planetouched elf subrace with eladrin outsider ancestors and the genasi would be offspring of half-genies.
* About minotaurs PCs... please, most of time horns can be used during fight, worse if enemy is little.

| #82IxidorRSNov 18, 2014 6:54:53 | If anyone is still wondering, someone allegedly has the DMG and stated that the spells Aasimar get are Light, Lesser Restoration, and Daylight at 1/3/5. Seems like good choices to me. |
