Absolutely Terrifying!
I've never pictured these monsters as more than lumbering behemoths despite the fact that their speed in 4E was 5 squares (it was only 20 ft in 3E and 6" in AD&D compared to 12" for an unencumbered man). In 5E it's speed is 30ft, meaning it can run you down if you're in heavy armor and don't have the min Strength to avoid the penalty!
Anyway, the rule is really secondary... I wanted to show another example of the humorous pencils scattered through the new Monster Manual. I actually wish there were more...
That is awesome!
I love all the work that has gone into making the books.
The little flavor things like this are fantastic.
Now I have a new exclamation. "Great galloping otyughs!"
AWWWWWW it's a happy puppy!
I've always liked otyughs. I insist on having one in every campaign along with a few other classic monsters. The last one was Gurgle, a huge otyugh pet of the conjoined bog hags Marsha & Mira.

I really want to see that otyugh run as a looping gif!
I'm on it!
(I had to trace over all the lines to make it more clear)
That is great!
Otyugh looks like it's doing the Running Man.
