I am at Gen Con and thought it might be fun to meet some of my fellow gamers.

I will be in front of ICC 242 at 930 tomorrow.  If anyone wants to come by and say hi that would be cool.

If that time is not good then suggest something else below.  I have a fairly busy session schedule so lunch is out for me unless it is after one and before three.

Maybe next year Reinhart!   Are you at Gen Con and unable to meet or not here at all?

Good initiative. Forum regulars meeting face to face from time to time could go a long way to improve the mood on these boards. Sadly I am on the other side of the planet.

I'm afraid I wasn't forum-connected all weekend. I tried several e-mails to those who gave me their contact info, but we never could make it work. Not surprising, really, but I was hoping to meet people!

I didn't check the forums either. Sorry we couldn't make it work. Clearly this has to be made a priority next time!

Some of us think there should be a specific, ticketed event so we can all be sure it's on the schedule.

A note on the "sold out" on D&D events -- there was always a line for people with generic tickets, and those people got in whenever a table had space. A friend of mine was able to join me at a table with generics. So if you really want to play something, grab some generics and see what they can do for you. They'd rather have people play than go away disappointed.

Okay folks.  My plan is to be at Gen Con next year.  So plan on it!

I wanted to mention an author I've met the last few years.  I go to a lot of the writing seminars by the way.   Maxwell Alexander Drake.  Drake for short.  He has written a really awesome fantasy trilogy.  If you like that sort of thing I think you'll enjoy his books.   I've read the first two and the third is out soon.
