Currently, in order to get both the hardcover and the Fantasy Grounds module for the 5e products released to date, you have to purchase each separately. While there is certainly more value to having both formats, the consumer is nevertheless paying twice for the actual content.

Is Wizards considering selling future products (Out of the Abyss, Sword Coast Adventurer’s Guide, etc.) as a bundle with the hardcover and the Fantasy Grounds module together for a reduced price? It seems to be a standard within the RPG publishing industry that when you buy a new physical product, you can add the digital version for only a few dollars more (if it isn’t automatically included.)

Yeah, I know that. They put the 5e stuff on sale right after I'd bought it all.

I suppose I should ask whether WotC people (not just forum mods) ever post here to answer questions. If not, then I should just post on the Fantasy Grounds forums, since those guys are great about interacting with their customers.

Wizards of the Coast does not sell books.

So a bundle would not be possible, unless Fantasy Grounds started selling books, or began working with game stores.

I don't think we'll see a bundle as the books and the FG modules are produced by separate companies. It's possible a retailer might work out a deal with FG to have discs of their content then create a bundle in their store but you likely wouldn't see any discount on the price as the retailer still has to pay both FG and WotC (indirectly through a distributor) for the content. Other than the 3e PHB from WotC I've yet to buy, or see in a store, an RPG book or boxed set that came with a digital version so I don't think it's the standard. Not even my pathfinder core rulebook came with a digital version.
