| #1DizzyWoodAug 24, 2015 6:34:04 | So we have a Halfling life cleric of Sharess who prefers not to hurt anything…except spiders. KILL ALL OF THE SPIDERS!!!! He is being played really well but we all feel that they player is getting bored. So my DM asked me to help think of ways to involve him more especially during combat. |

Powerful mounts act on their own inititive, and use their actions and movement as they see fit. 2: Fight spiders and spider like things. Let him know that he will get a rest.
i.e. Some drow are trying to break away from worshiping Lolth and want to worship Sharess instead. They plan on holding a large festival as a comming out party. Lolths does not approve. One of the breakaway drow has already been found dead, their bodies used as food for spider eggs. You need to find the assassin before it scares people away, ruining the festivities.

So the cleric "fights" with everyone else but somehow never lands a telling blow but thier efforts set up allies for better attacks. |
