#1 Arvanche Feb 12, 2015 11:55:40	Hello I am interested in getting into DnD as I see my favourite streamer (with 500 followers averag 12 viewers per stream) play it, he lets us join in but he only picks one guy and I have only been on his stream for 1 week so he doesnt let me, he lets members who have been there longer play. So he suggested until I can get joined to look on websites for other people... So I was wondering if anybody would join me?   My requirements are: You must have a mic You must know how to play the game (mostly to teach me Kappa) I need someone who can lead the game or something like that I dont have a clue what im doing   I need like 3 members to play and someone who can go through the story and stuff and asks us what we want to do, now I dont want anything serious as I wish to play this for fun, if I lose I dont care aslong as I had fun! #2 bawylie Feb 12, 2015 13:21:17	There is basically only 1 thing you need to do to play: Chase goals.    Ultimately your character is all about achieving something, becoming something, and getting something. Determine what that is. Go get it.    The rest of the "game" is bookkeeping. And nobody - nobody - expects you to be a master accountant to play.    For further reading, please see Players 101 in my signature. And for online games, I strongly suggest Roll20.net (I think) where they have forums and whatnot to hook you up.    Good luck!

#5 TheTrevdor Feb 13, 2015 16:23:21	I'd be willing to play a game online, considering that I have yet to find an actual group that plays that fits my schedule. I have quite a bit of experience as a DM, but I'm not interested in DMing more games. I want to get some experience as a player, so providing that schedules could work out, I'd gladly play an online game. Shoot me a pm or something if you find more takers or if you find someone willing to DM a game.
