Greetings, in my new series of off-the-beaten-path threads I'd like to present the greetings, salutations, and odd comments people wrote inside your second-hand manuals. Maybe you'll find a book in circulation that was once yours.
This one comes from a 1st edition Monster Manual II (inside, front cover);

The inside front cover of my Tome of Magic had the phrase "Jack Chick was right" written in it over and over in an increasingly erratic and illegible script. There was an odd dark stain on it as well.

When I went off to college, years later, I (foolishly!) left them at home. My mom promptly sent them off to Goodwill.
