| #1RansolotNov 02, 2014 13:02:59 | So, I am sure I'm not the first to ask this question but I'm hoping that someone can just give me the "quick" answer- About how long (yes, I know, roughly) does it take to run the Hoard of the Dragon Queen? I'm thinking if someone can give me a "it's roughly 8-10 4 hour sessions" or something along those lines. This will greatly help me do some planning for the next few months. Thanks everyone! |

We have finished The Ruins of Thundertree (or part 3 of 4). The starter module is a bit shorter than HotDQ, so I surmise that the latter will take my group longer than 60 hours. Reason for this is that my group doesnt' like to rush through events and actually enjoy role playing with the various NPC's introduced, which is great because these will become hooks for later stories.
