| #1Lady_AurallaSep 03, 2014 7:18:56 | As we currently have no poisons to use in game at the moment (that I know of except for basic poison kit), I thought I would crowd source some ideas here so we would all have something to use in the meantime.
The first idea I had was a poison called Magebane that would do damage when the poison victim casts a spell (maybe 1d4/spell level) Con save DC12-14 for half damage and the victim also has disadvantage on Concentration checks.
Another thing is how to determine cost per dose as not all poisons would cost the same?

Calabar Beans Ingested Calabar Beans leave an oily residue that can be difficult to detect. Anyone sipping or sampling food tainted by this oil may notice it (+7 vs passive perception). Anyoneone soncsuming around half a dose/meal/drink is affected. The poison has an onset time of 10 minutes and a DC 13 constitution save is called for. Failure results in 3d6 damage and disadvantage for 24 hours, success results in disadvantage for 1d12 hours |
