She thought it was a group of people that worked for her. Feel free to share any silly or fun D&D you have. Now that I think about it a magical Staff of staff summoning might not be so bad. Your Magical Staff of staff summoning summons 2 accountants, 1 secretary, 1 slacker and 1 janitor, lol. |
| #2NoonJul 13, 2014 16:41:18 | Staff party, was it? |
| #3TheZigZagistJul 13, 2014 18:31:09 | Yeah, I've had at least two players attempt to enter combat wielding their iron rations over the years. I suppose swingin a bag with a weeks supply of mixed nuts and dried fruit around is at least a d4 dmg? Con save if the target had a peanut allergy I guess. |

| #7HebitsuikazaJul 13, 2014 23:17:31 | Commanding a team of specialists as they fight monsters and gather gold for you might be a fun game in and of itself though.
There was sort of a game like that where you manage a city and train adventurers and could generally direct them where to go on the map, but they would act and fight on their own and would buy weapons, armor and magic items from the shops you set up. The name eludes me right now. |
| #8SaelornJul 14, 2014 0:08:08 | That reminds me of the person who thought "Turn Undead" was a kind of self-buff that turned the cleric into an undead.
It's a good story, at least. |
| #9RamzourJul 14, 2014 2:36:22 | If a quarterstaff is about 6-ft long, doesn't that mean that a staff is about 24-ft long? My friends and I had a good time with that logic growing up. (and yes, I know why it's actually called a quarterstaff. don't ruin the joke please) |
| #10LucienderJul 14, 2014 2:50:32 | To be honest I always found it ridiculously amusing that Drow is "word" spelled backwords. |

| #21alienuxJul 14, 2014 9:49:22 | Ok, not specifically D&D related, but I have to share this here. Years ago, my mother was telling me about someone who was acting downright crazy. She told me they should be sent to the "Insanist Island."
It took me a few seconds to realize that her whole life, she didn't realize what an Insane Assylum was and that she had grown up calling it an Insanist Island and nobody had ever realized what she was saying and corrected her. |

"I tidy my room."
