| #1TovenarFeb 03, 2015 5:56:05 | Morning All,
What is the difference between set 1 and set 2? |
| #2CCSFeb 03, 2015 7:18:14 | Set 2 has 52 new figures + a Silver Dragon "incentive" figure. As the sets subtitled "Elemental Evil" I'm going to go out on a limb & predict it'll have pieces usefull to the coming adventure.... |
| #3MrHotterFeb 03, 2015 9:57:02 | I wish WotC would do more promotion of the items from WizKids and Gale Force 9. It seems like it would be in their best interest to promote some of the neat things out there.
This is the first I've heard about a set 2 for Icons of the Realm, but I did know that they have an Elemental Evil release coming out. I'm wondering if this is meant to go with the Rise of Tiamat adventure. I don't own the adventures, so I'm not sure what monsters would be needed to run them.
EDIT: I just check to see what was out there and it looks like the first line is called Tyrany of Dragons and an Elemental Evil set is on the way. Are they both in the 'Icons of the Realm' category? It's a bit confusing. |

| #6TovenarFeb 04, 2015 6:12:32 | Whats worse is that in some places its tyranny of dragons set 1 and 2. It has been very confusing trying to figure out what going on! Thanks for helping me clear some of it up though! |
| #7moonbeastFeb 14, 2015 17:13:42 | Lots of Elementals. Lots and lots of elementals. And a handful of genasi. I predict that my prediction is accurate. Or else I eat the dolphin sushi!

| #8thanson02Feb 17, 2015 8:02:37 | Keep in mind too that D&D Attack Wing uses the same figures as set 1,with some additional miniatures such as a frost giant and a troop of Hobgoblin warriors. ![]() |

| #10moonbeastFeb 17, 2015 21:11:56 | Also, a question for Set 2 Elemenal Evil specifically..... does anyone know (or think) if the Promo Silver Dragon for Set 2 is going to be an awesome ancient or elder dragon? Or will it be the same gimpy weakling silver dragon that has already been shipping for Attack Wing?

| #13moonbeastFeb 18, 2015 16:32:31 | Man I hate that the invisibles are "rares". What a cheap way to cash grab. The invisibles are the easiest cheapest pieces of plastic they could produce with the least effort. And then they count among the "expensive rares".

| #18janosicekFeb 19, 2015 4:48:59 | In each brick (8 boosters) you will get:
1 LARGE RARE (Dragon) 2 MEDIUM RARES 1 VERY-RARE (Invisible)
That's it. Rest of boosters in a brick will contain a LARGE UNCOMMON plus a mix of UNCOMMON/COMMON minis. There is chance of TWO LARGEs per booster. In such case the second LARGE is always a Bronze Dragon (UNCOMMON)
I suggest purchasing 1 or 2 bricks and then buying/trading to get what you miss.
One of the best websites for trading is miniaturetrading.com and if you follow the link you can see my HAVE/WANT list.

I do wish that future WotC miniature Sets would start including more of the following types:
1) NPCs/townies -- something like "Night Watchman of Waterdeep" or "Street Hooker of Baldur's Gate"
and
2) More inanimate objects -- an already perfect example are the Ballistas (in Tyranny of Dragons), Arcane Ballista, Arbalester, and things like coffins or sarcophagi (for mummies, vampires), Gypsy Wagon, etc. |
| #20janosicekFeb 23, 2015 12:05:21 | I hate Ballista! Out of 5 rare figures I have, three are ballistas! Would gladly trade them for Harpy, Mind Flayer or Half Black Dragon Lord |
