It is also much harder than ice.   The material is so resilient that plans were considered (though later abandoned) to make a warship from it.   http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_Habakkuk   This wonder substance could easily be replicated in a high fantasy setting.    Imagine the possibilities.   For example, an Ice Fortress resistant to catapults and fireballs...   Pykrete Golems...   Pykrete Pies...     How would you introduce the wonders of Pykrete to your campaign?
#2 mellored Feb 23, 2015 6:24:01	I don't see why not...   Though, it still melts.  Slower, but it melts none the less.  So give it a longer durartion. And since it's still partially wood (which will still burn), i don't see any reason it wouldn't still be vulerable to fire.  It's tougher in general, but still vulerable.   Thus...  i would simply take an ice wall/golem/ect..., and give it... 50% more HP.  (possibly +2 AC). Double durration.   and increase it's spell level by 1 (or CR level).
#3 rampant Feb 23, 2015 9:37:02	Well i imagine it resists fire because if you heat the wood bits up enough to ignite the nearby water melts a bit and extinguishes the flame. So I imagine that it would still take some damage form fire it just wouldn't catch on fire until you'd already reduced it back to sawdust.

Resists fire and can't be set on fire, until it hits 1/2 to 1/4 hp, then becomes vulnerable. Cold damage on attacks, and if you don't finish it off with fire the sawdust animates into a swarm and tries to kill everyone in a beserk rampage.
