I've looked at the promo video and some forums and haven't seen any information about when Tyranny of Dragons is supposed to come out.  My impression is that it was supposed to be a promotional module released with the Player's Handbook, and since that is obviously released ToD should be as well. The Tyranny of Dragons page seems to be out of order as it is giving me an error message. Is it out yet and can I buy it? If so, where? If not, when does it come out?

The first part is called "Hoard of the Dragon Queen". Ir was released on 19th August. You can find it on Amazon, for example. The second part will be called "The Rise of Tiamat" and that will be released in October.

Ok, thanks. Seems the promo video is really misleading concerning the titles. Also, I didn't even know they were pslit up into two parts.

So, is it *only* available on amazon? Or just physical copies? Because I can't see any way to order it from WoTC directly on the game page, either physical or digital.

No digital offering at this time which I find a little frustrating.

You can get it from Amazon or any good FLGS.

"Tyranny of Dragons" isn't a single thing. It is a storyline, told through different mediums. The two adventure modules, the current organized play adventures, the Neverwinter MMORPG, and probably other things.

Maybe even an online comic!

The adventures (Hoard and the Rise of Tiamat coming out later) are available through many outlets. If they sell RPG products they can get it. This includes Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and any LGS and even some LCS or smaller local bookstores.

The teaser video was taken from the Neverwinter Online game who has "Tyranny of Dragons" as their latest story arc / major in-game event.

It's also the setting for the latest season of Organized Play (D&D Encounters, and the new Expiditions series).

There's also hints that it'll be represented in 1 or 2 different comic series.
