| #1ZardnaarOct 16, 2014 11:30:55 | Package arrived from Amazon the other day. THis is my groups haul so far.
Artwork is very good for the most part, HotDQ looks a bit meh. 6 items vs 4 items for 4E though (PH X2, DMG, MM all bought blind).

already got one extra PHB for MtlKnight.
Now waiting to see whether Emerikol buys. |
| #3AkeishaOct 16, 2014 12:49:25 | Congratulations! |
| #4ChrisCarlsonOct 16, 2014 13:22:49 | AFAIC, Zard has far more legitimacy, in his issues with the rules, than some here who fully admit to not buying/playing 5e but continue to threadcrap none-the-less.
Congrats, Zard! Enjoy! (I know we are...) |

I've got the PHB and the MM, with the DMG on preorder. I'll likely pick up the DM Screen and eventually the Starter Set (just because), but I'm unsure about picking up the ToD adventures. |

| #13RamzourOct 17, 2014 1:17:35 | I haven't started running HotDQ yet, but I have started prepping for it. From what I can tell, the adventure needs a little love from the DM to make it a truly spectacular adventure. That said, the story line is very epic and it's going to be one hell of a ride. I'd rather have a good epic story to start from that needs some details filled in, than an uninspiring story with all the details. |

| #16MechaPilotOct 17, 2014 21:12:01 | I have to admit that LMnoP is the only adventure that I've ever purchased, so it's really my only yardstick for published adventures in general. However, aren't most published adventures okay at best? |

| #20RhennyOct 18, 2014 8:44:04 | As a DM, I'd rather have a published adventure work out the story and be railroady than be too sprawling. For me, making the story and planning through a path is the most difficult part. I can always throw in side encounters or mini-diversions or alternate paths to make the campaign run more sandboxy if the basic arc of the campaign is provided by the publisher.
