Just how bad are the PHB errors, really?

I'm seeing the errata thread growing like crazy and I'm getting a bit concerned not just for my impending arrival, but for the effect this will have on the launch itself. I saw a post a day or two ago about the PHB leaving out mentioned spells. So, just how bad are the errors, really? Are people overreacting?

Its really not bad overall, less than1% of the content. Its little things here and there, some more significant than others but nothing stopping me from having a ton of fun with it

If you were hardcore OCD about error free books then maybe you would want to wait. But if you were you would know first prints of ANY THING was a bad idea. Otherwise, get it! I have every PHB ever made. This is the best, hands down.

We've had the PHB a week and what people are call errors are either minor nitpicking or and excuse to start a barroom brawl in the forums....  The later often are semi deliberate miss-interpretations.

Thanks guys, that's good to hear. I was hoping that this would be the case, but its just so hard to tell sometimes because the sky always seems to be falling around here.
