Ever since 2nd edition, what I saw the Titan and I believe it was the Lizard Titan entry, I was thinking about a Godzilla type monster in the game. So, if you have them, share some of your Kaiju Monster D&D stories with us! And statistics too! |

I give the PC's advantage on the first attack (and automatically win initiative), but the monster wouldn't stop to melee with them unless there was something it wanted at the location (the old "Godzilla wants to eat the nuclear reactor" bit, but with a cursed item). 30 feet behind, on the sides, above, and below the monster are rough terrain (including flying since something big moving fast messes up air currents). Outside of the breath weapon, trampling is the monster's normal attack; in cities, flying rubble and fires set by the destruction caused by the monster add to the damage (so the rough terrain on the ground is also on fire). The usual goals were either to use the cursed item to lure the monster out of the way of a town or to use the cursed item in a ritual to k.o. the monster (before he steps on the party trying to do the ritual). |

* Have you seen the manga/anime "attack of the titan"? It is like a post-apocalypse world but with meneater giants instead zombies. Are you thinking about anything like Pacific Rim or Godzilla?
* My suggestion for kaijus is a remake of the giant humanoids, the cyclops, the central eye really would be an alien simbiont graft (like Starro from DC). These cyclops would be the "sons of Argus Panoptes", a secret religious order who pray to a group of primal titans. Maybe the parasite/simbiont was created by beholders to controll giants slaves..
* If there are kaijus... where are the dragons, and the gods who ought to protect their followers? |

Vulnerabilities: Cold, Cadmium, Oxygen Destroyer Languages: None (understands Japanese) CR: 21
Traits
Amphibious: Godzilla can breathe in both air and water.
Wrath of the Sea God: Godzilla has an innate sense of threats to the natural world. As long as Godzilla is on the same plane, it can sense any creature powerful enough to disrupt the world's ecosystem and/or destroy Tokyo, and is compelled to fight and defeat it. It has a +10 bonus to any Perception, Survival, or Investigation checks made to locate, identify, or track such threats, even while underwater. In addition, Godzilla can communicate simple ideas to other giant monsters, through a kind of instinctive telepathic connection.
Nuclear Response: Godzilla is, quite literally, a living nuclear reactor. Godzilla begins play with 1,500 Nuclear power points, generated from within his body. He may utilize these NPP to attack, regenerate, and perform other feats of strength and endurance. These points regenerate naturally at a rate of 10% per month Godzilla remains dormant in his lair deep beneath the sea, or Godzilla can recover a portion of them by devouring radioactive material, such as the fuel rods of a man-made fission reactor.
Legendary Resistance (3/day): Whenever Godzilla fails a saving throw, he may expend one use of this feature to succeed on the saving throw instead.
Walking Apocolypse: Every attack Godzilla makes against buildings, vehicles, and other immobile man-made structures counts as a critical hit, and always does the maximum possible damage. In addition, Godzilla's very presence irradiates the area within 120 feet of him. If he stays in a particular area for more than an hour, or uses his breath weapon while within an area, that area becomes saturated with dangerous levels of radiation for up to 72 hours.
Atomic Regeneration: As a bonus action on each of his turns, Godzilla may spend up to 200 NPP to recover 100 hit points.
"Screw Gravity:" Godzilla may jump up to 50 times his Strength score in feet when making a long jump with a running start, and may make improvised ranged weapon attacks with a short range of 600 feet, and a long range of 1 mile. Basically, if he can lift it, he can throw it at you.
Actions
Bite: +16 vs. AC; Melee 3; 8d6 + 10 piercing damage and the target must make a DC 16 Constitution saving throw or be grappled.
Slam: +16 vs. AC; Melee 1; 10d8 + 10 bludgeoning damage.
Tail Smash: +16 vs. AC; Melee 2; 6d8 + bludgeoning damage and the target must make a DC 16 Dexterity saving throw or be knocked prone.
Charging Slam: Godzilla moves up to his speed and makes a slam attack at the end of his movement.
Breath Weapon: Godzilla breathes a 10ft wide blast of blue-white radioactive flames in a 600ft. line. All creatures within the line must make a Dexterity saving throw or take 10d10 + 25 radiant damage, or half as much damage on a successful save. Godzilla must spend at least 200 Nuclear Power Points to use this attack. Alternatively, if Godzilla has been reduced to 30% or less of his maximum hit points, he may funnel up to 500 NPP into this attack. If he does so, the beam becomes red, and any hit it scores becomes a critical hit.
