Legendary Strength (requirement: Str 17+, proficient in Athletics)

Your strength is the stuff of legends. Some say possess the blood of a supernatural being. Some say you were chosen by the gods. Whatever the source, your physical might rivals that of others of your race.

  • You become proficient in all Strength checks and your proficiency bonus is doubled for any Strength check you make.
  • You are considered a Large creature for determing your carrying capacity and for all rules related to shoves and grapples.
  • Whenever you make a Strength check, you can choose to gain a +10 bonus to your roll. Once you use this ability, you must complete a short rest before you can use it again.

With all the talk about high level warriors being unable to match up to the warriors of myth and legend, I figured the easiest way to fix this problem was to just make a feat. Now if you want to play someone as strong as Conan (the strongest man there is), Lancelot (as strong as 10 men), or Beowulf (ripped the arms off a troll), you can!

I don't know if that's good enough for a feat. Maybe it could also grant Strength +1?

Edit: If I can lift 1000 lbs, then how much damage does it do when I drop a 1000-lb rock on someone?

While I think the prerequisite is too low (I'd suggest Str 17+) I like it. Definitely gives a character a certain look and feel. EDIT: I like the idea of it adding +1 to Str score.
