#1 Zardnaar Dec 21, 2014 17:22:10	I am thinking of trying 5E with more feats that are less powerful as I can port my feats from homebrew to 5E.    What do guys think would be a good rate of feat aquisition.   1. Feats at lvel 1,3,6,9,12 etc a'la 3.5/Star Wars Saag 2. Feats at level 1,3,5,7,9 a'la 4E/Pathfinder 3. Feats at 5E rates but you get 3 micofeats instead of 1 big feat.
#2 AaronOfBarbaria Dec 21, 2014 19:39:05	I think that it is impossible to actually choose a good rate of acquisition unless the exact potency of these "microfeats" is known before hand.
#3 ankiyavon Dec 21, 2014 20:06:04	Assuming that each microfeat is about as strong as a bullet point from a 5E feat, I would expect to see them coming in about twice as often.   I say twice as often instead of three times as often because not every 5E feat has three bullet points, and not all of them are equally valuable, and being given more options in choices lets you stack things more synergistically.  All these combine to make me say that you might get more equivalent bullet points with straight 5E feats, but I would expect the 2x microfeats per big feat to be equally strong.

#5 mellored Dec 21, 2014 20:52:04	each time you get a feat/abi, you get 2 micrio feats, 1 micrio feat and +1 to a stat, +2 to stat, or +1 to 2 stats.
#6 pukunui Dec 21, 2014 22:08:39	Go with the 3.5 progression and split the megafeats up by bullet points/uses per day. Make them an additional thing to ability score improvements rather than an either/or thing.
#7 Karnos Dec 22, 2014 8:15:26	5e already has support for microfeats.   Take your microfeat, tack on a +1 to an ability score bonus to it, ta-da, now it's equal to a 5th edition feat.  No need to mess with progression or anything else.
