cool, they used Lord Soth for the Death Knight picture. |
| #2MechatarrasqueSep 08, 2014 8:27:14 | Nice. I love the dragon turtle and the death tyrant pictures. |
| #3AH_schulertaSep 08, 2014 8:46:00 | Cloaker looks like it came straight out of the movie Pink Floyd The Wall. |
| #4blake_marloweSep 09, 2014 7:46:05 | dang. those looked awesome! |
| #5FFSAASep 09, 2014 8:27:12 | Seems pretty nice, but again, it's coming at the cost of far more valuable rules. The art is easy, type green dragon into google image and out pops thousands of green dragons, several quite a bit better than the one in the MM. But can I google 5E rules for green dragons? Uhhhh, nope.
The art should be the appetizer, not the main course. More space needed to be spent on rules for monsters to make the hours of game time you fight them fun and less on the art to make the seconds you look at it colorful.
Oh, and of course all the monsters are male, because sexism. |
| #6Slyck314Sep 09, 2014 8:53:53 | You have no idea how much space is used on rules. This video was obviously just an appetizer of the art. Did I see Ancient Shadow Red Dragon? Shadow dragons are no longer and independent breed? |
| #7blake_marloweSep 09, 2014 9:01:14 | slyck, i saw that too. my immediate suspicion is that some kind of templating/hybriding option may be available. |
| #8MechatarrasqueSep 09, 2014 10:09:26 | That was my take on shadow dragons too. That opens up some interesting possibilities if other planes will have templates for dragons too. |
