| #1RedSiegfriedOct 15, 2014 5:15:20 | Okay, so I figured I'd get the new MM from Barne's and Noble since after discounts and gift cards, I could get it for just under $20.
But it's not available. I checked online and it's not there at all, not even for preorder. Not in the stores (that I could find) either. Which is really odd since the have they Starter Set and the PHB and the hardcover adventures in stores and online, and on the website you can preorder the DMG.
I haven't contacted BN directly about this yet, and I couldn't find anything about it with a quick search, so does anyone have any information about why they don't have it (not even for preorder) when they appear to be carrying everything else in the 5e line? |

The monsters are real, you know. |
| #3TimboramaOct 15, 2014 7:23:47 | I got mine from B&N. Talk to an associate, and they could special order it, potentially (or they're just sitting in a pile in the back room). |

| #5MistwellOct 15, 2014 8:19:55 | It was sold out recently on their website, which causes it to be yanked from their digitial listing system |

There was no Monster Manuals in the RPG section where they had the Player's Handbooks and Hoard of the Dragon Queen and other RPG books though. |
| #8caridhorOct 15, 2014 15:57:29 | B&N's all over have stuff in wierd places. I saw several in the religion section of all places here. |
| #9AaronOfBarbariaOct 15, 2014 16:47:29 | My local B&N moved all their RPG stuff over to the board game area (they used to be between fantasy fiction and graphic novels), but they also stopped (for a while at least) stocking any RPG besides D&D (which is not surprising, given that there are 3 dedicated gaming stores in town, and numerous other "we also sell gaming books" stores which their sale of that particular category of product are competing with). |
