Just got the monster manual and so far I'm really liking the book.  

 

But I think I'm missing something, where does it give approximate heights/dimensions of a monster?  I know it gives sizes as in how much space a creature takes up on a grid.  But a gargantuan creature could be 20 feet tall or 5 feet tall taking up the same space on a grid and I would like to be able to describe the monsters further to my players.

 

 Since I'm new to dnd a lot of these creature are new to me.
