Want monsters now!
Not buying into the whole Starter Set thing!
Basic doesn't have monsters!
September 30th feels like a decade away!
ROAR!
Sorry, had to get that out of my system with a whole brand new thread. |

Maybe you can suggest a new pdf about classic monsters, like orcs, animals and skeletons.

Or is it all one line of details? "this monster enjoyes eating sand, gets nervous around the color pruple."

| #17Brock_LandersJul 11, 2014 11:11:42 | Yeah, monsters are my favourite part of this game, the 1st Ed MM drew me in, and when I got a hold of Deities & Demigods, forget about it, so, I have been a monster converting maniac since the playtest started. I need to see a decent swath of monsters so I know how to guide my editing of all the glorious monsters I have converted so far from previous editions! |

| #21Luis_CarlosJul 15, 2014 4:40:17 | About the monster manual.
We need stats about body mass (if a monster can be eaten, or because higher body mass means higher resistance to poisons) or loading (mounts like elephant). If monsters can be allies we need to know how much food eat every day.
When there is a new dragon specie, the stats for half-template should be in the next page. For example if the planar dragon is in hte MM2 the half-planar dragon should be in the MM2 not in the future Draconomicon.
If a specie can be a wizard´s familiar, the stats should be in the same book. For example a monkey can be a familiar, but the stats are in the dragon magazine.
* I would like a template to add arms to the nagas, and a shapesifter power to create a monster "hidden among us" (like the aliens from "men in black"). Let´s imagine the players discover the killer is the mayor´s wife, and when they are going to arrest her she changes to a medusa shape.
* I have thought about the idea of a modular creation of monsters, for example if you don´t want a "save or die" monster attack, you can quit it or replace with another softer, and the XP value would be adjusted.
