I used Modrons last week in my D&D game where they tried to "fix" the Caves of Chaos by burying them. Anyway only a few of them are in the MM as the missed out the Modron Hierarchs.
I am thinking of converting them to 5E and putting them on the forums. The conversion will be based off the Modrons from the 1E Monster Manual 2 although I htink i will have to lower the spellcaster levels on some of the Modrons as 5E lacks level 22 Clerics so level 22 will become level 20.
Just ondering if anyone would be interested in seeing them. From memory some of the Modrons also turned up in a 3.5 Dragon article so if anyone knows what issue that was please LMK.
ANy demand for more Modrons or just to silly?

I imagine the inevitables as other creations of Primus, since Primus is the power of Mechanus and the being of pure law. Also, Rogue Modrons are my favorite Planescape race to play. Love them to death. |

When Modrons first came out, we all figured it was a joke. They must have been really scrapping the bottom of the barrel to have monsters based on *shapes*.... There was no way they would last...
I am amazed they have become a fairly core part of DnD canon...

| #9LuisCarlos17fMar 01, 2015 8:34:52 | My suggestion: A mechanantrix (plantetouched race from Fiend Folio) binder summons Primus vestige(Dragon Magazine #341). There is a plan to create a second modron race. Technically they would be psiforged (subrace from "Magic of Eberron") with a special "tattoo" in the forehead.
Another idea is to create a D&D version of mechalus PC race from d20 Future, and cyborgs implants for half-golems.
