Signed up for the beta the day it came out and haven't heard a peep since. Wondering if anyone else has heard anything or if the beta simply hasn't started yet.

Got a "thanks for signing up" message immediately after I registered. That was all I heard.
What with their preparations for GenCon, and the massive amount of people signing up for Beta, I don't think we can expect to hear anything for awhile.

Unless it's a condition of entry that you aren't allowed to tell anyone that you're in, and it's started but no-one's telling us ...
My guess is a few weeks.

Yeah haven't heard anything yet. Someone in another thread said a friend got in due to his tablet but have to take that with a grain of salt (since they don't ask for any system details other than Web/Android) and your name. I suspect they'll start sending invites on or after GenCon or after the PHB WPN early release on the 8th.
I think NewbieDM (http://newbiedm.com) along with some others got invitations to some exclusive testing before/during GenCon and then post reviews. That indicates that the Beta won't start earlier than that is my guess. Around the launch of Player's handbook sounds about right.
Yeah, it's kind of a concern to me that it might provide too much PHB spoiler content if it starts before the PHB is out...and yet I want to get into the beta. Best case scenario is if they don't start (or don't let us see any PHB content) until after the PHB releases.
The iPad beta is underway already. Happened to look over the shoulder of an Encounters DM last Wednesday while he was using it for his game and I recognized it from the previewed images. Don't know about the Web or Android betas yet.
