I just published an interview with Kobold Press's Wolfgang Baur about "Tyranny of Dragons". He talks about some of the new stuff that's coming down the pipe for 5E. I've copied/pasted the intro here, but since it's a big piece (and since I wrote it for someone else) I can't reproduce all of it. Hope you like. I've got a Mike Mearls interview somewhere, too, that I can share.

Here's the link to the entire interview.

Baur continued to freelance for Dungeon Adventures and publishers Iron Crown Enterprises (makers of Middle Earth Role Playing, the first licensed role-playing game set in J.R.R. Tolkien’s Middle-earth) but didn’t consider his work as a viable career option, opting instead to pursue a science education at Illinois University. After completing his undergraduate work, Baur elected to continue his studies in molecular biology and biochemistry at Cornell University.

Fate intervened in 1991 when Baur ran out of the funding needed to continue his grad program. Falling back on his experience as a freelancer, Baur landed a position as assistant editor at Dungeon Adventures magazine under TSR’s Barbara Young. While Baur describes his work there as a “flunky” it was significant enough for him to parley it into an editorship at Dungeon’s sister magazine Dragon. Baur didn’t look back, declining an opportunity to return to studies in favor of his work with TSR.
