| #1arnwolf666Aug 30, 2014 4:46:15 | I feel the Rogue is missing a little bit. Something extra to do beside Sneak Attack. So this is an ability I am giving Rogue's at first level.
Dirty Fighting If a Rogue is outnumbered at melee the Rogue may use his reaction against any melee attack against him and redirect that attack at an enemy within 5 feet. The Rogue must make a Deception check verus the attack roll of the attacker. If successful the attack is not applied to the Rogue but to an adjacent enemy.
Not Sure on the wording, but I think my intentions are clear. I hate rules lawyers anyway :-) |
| #2Plaguescarred1Aug 30, 2014 5:30:32 | Sounds cool to me! Here's a few observations; contest are usually made against ability checks, not attack roll so it'd be exceptional but still feasable. Also unless you specify "another enemy" the enemy will be able to target itself so i don't know if you intend it or not. If not, here's a cleaned up version if you want;

I could see someone taking this ability instead of sneak attack because it changes the flavor and feel of the PC which is exactly what an interchangeable part should do. |
