PDF Fair Use

Just a heads up that if anyone needs portions of the Basic Rules for fair use (blogs, forums, etc), or adding to homemade character sheet (personal use situations) and can't copy the text from Normal PDF, instead, use the Printer Friendy PDF. That one will not garble the text.

 

With this version being new and all I'm sure a few of you write your own stuff around the internet so I hope this helps.

Alternatively you can always link to a page within the PDF too.

 

Ex. http://media.wizards.com/downloads/dnd/DnDBasicRules.pdf#page=76 (Dropping to 0 hit points)

I know one of the first things I did with the Basic rules was make a two page 'spell book' to print for my future wizard players so they did not have to flip around the spell list. That will only get worse when the spell list grows for the PHB. Hopefully Morningstar will be out by then so I don't have to hand type the spells.
