Hi , the link is for the San Diego Comic Con preview of the Tyranny of Dragons miniature release.  It shows the two gargantuan Icons of the Realms miniatures- Tiamat and Bahamut.  The case incentive is a gargantuan Brass dragon.  There are a ton of dragons in this set.

Im not sure why WotC isn't previewing this stuff.  The first set is due out in less than a month and nothing has been previewed yet.

Why isn't Peter Lee reviewing the miniatures like he used to??

I've already preorder a case plus the incentive for set one.  It looks like to be a great kick off into 5th edition miniatures!

Can't wait for my case and incentive to show up.  I need to preorder the gods, too.

WotC probably wanted to wait for SDCC or even until closer to the actual release of the minis to start previewing them.  I wouldn't be surprised to see an article up next week.

Thanks for the link! I've been wanting to see these. BTW, Mearls tweeted some time back that Wizkids would make all decisions and plans for official previews of the sets. I'm assuming Wizards will link to it if it happens. They do have a few images up in their galleries, but mostly just the starter set that's already out.

Cheers!

Thanks for the link. That Tiamat looks awesome!

I wonder what future set releases will look like... so far it looks as if they are doing a mix of blind and visible products. So far I'm really happy to see that the first set looks to include so many iconic monsters, and lots of dragons!

I hope the paint jobs on the smaller models is decent. Also, is that a Dragonborn mini? Looks cool.

Are you sure those are gargantuan? It really looks like Tiamat and Bahamut have a 3 inch base,  which would make them huge.

With all the LGBT talk of late around here, is it terrible that I keep seeing this thread title and reading it as "Pictures of Tranny Dragons..."?

If you compare the bases with the medium figures it looks like they are at least 4 inches.  Also Tiamat's and Bahamut's cards say "Premium figure November 2014" so it looks like they are special releases around when the DMG comes out.

That huge dragon looks cool but I'm not sure he's worth buying an entire case.  There are only 44 figures and I've got plenty of minis from previous editions to fill out my ravening hordes.
